day 5 pictorial review

Day 5 was a much better day, mileage-wise. Not so much for the picture taking, maybe.

Here is the picture of the welcome sign for Wisconsin that I missed and we stole from the interweb.

Here is a much better picture of what could be the Wisconsin welcome sign. If you can't read it, it says "Welcome to Wisconsin, Comrade". This was all Cat's idea, I don't get it. ;)

Note the actual sign to the right of the other actual sign.

What?

They offer breaded cheese curds as an alternative to fries at fast food places!

Welcome to Minnesota, where people actually do speak funny.

Minnesoooooooooooootaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!

(The picture is blurry because Cat was driving at 155 m.p.h.)

Welcome to South Dakota, where we are right now. Speed limit: 75mph! Wowzah!

Thos four gentlemen on the sign are weeping for my curtailed right to safety. Ahem.

Safety Orange is my favorite color. You can see it on one of the bikers at the bottom of the picture.

Ninja picture!

Blocked!

The mighty Mississippi!
(don't say "agua" don't say "agua" don't say "agua"...)

We touched the Mississippi. About 3 feet from a dead fish.
It was beautiful.
